Perfect Pairings
Classic Burger with Santa Helena Carmenère
Everybody's favourite burger, served with cheddar, bacon and caramelized onions. The mix of flavours and textures in the burger perfectly complement our Carmenère, which is full-bodied yet easy to drink.
Ingredients
Brioche burger bun
Cooked burger
1 onion, thinly sliced and caramelized with 1 tsp sugar
Lettuce
Cheddar cheese
1 sliced tomato
Pickled gherkins
1 cup of mayonnaise
Crispy bacon
Lightly toast and butter the two halves of the burger bun. Spread 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise on the buttered bread. Then add 3 slices of pickle, the cooked burger, 1 or 2 slices of cheese, sliced tomato and lettuce.
Top it off with a spoonful of caramelized onions and two strips of crispy bacon and add the top half of the bun. Serve with French fries, salad or coleslaw.
