Ingredients

  • 2 trout.
  • Corn meal.
  • Butter for frying.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • A small glass of brandy or cognac.

Preparation

  1. Take two trout and cut off the heads. Remove guts and scales.
  2. Dip them in corn meal seasoned with salt and pepper.
  3. In a medium-sized frying pan, heat enough butter as to cover the surface, 0,6 centimeters high.
  4. Fry the trout 10 to 15 minutes, or until golden. Add a glass of brandy or cognac and serve immediately.
